Invitation

The purposes of the competition:

• to provide schoolchildren with opportunities to interact with students from other schools and to sharpen and demonstrate their problem-solving, programming, and teamwork skills
• to promote scientific knowledge in the field of information technologies (IT) and programming
• to provide optimal conditions for further intellectual growth and professional orientation of schoolchildren
• to develop skills of working as a member of a student group

The competition is carried out on following themes:

• programming in the languages Basic, Pascal or C/C++
• creating and editing Web-sites according to the template given
• searching information by Internet for some limited time
• working with Windows and Microsoft Office
• theoretical grounds of informatics

Those who want to be participants of the competition are necessarily to pass preliminary registration here.

Each team should consist of two or three contestants. Teams with fewer than two are ineligible. Results are summing up online during the competition. In order to let participants get to know Web-interface of testing system, a week before the start of the competition there will be open a trial contest on the site.
